The Silver Lady II got its start six years ago. The owner, Barbara Schulman,
previously owned All My Children Maternity and Diaper Outlets in Cincinnati,
Ohio. In the late 90s, with the advent of large maternity superstores, sales were
declining and Barbara was looking for a fresh, new avenue to sell. She ended
up on a plane coming back from Mexico and met a woman who traveled to
Taxco to buy and sell sterling silver jewelry. The two became fast friends and
Barbara learned everything she needed to know about buying silver jewelry
from this other woman, now known as The Silver Mother. The Silver Lady II
continued to expand its collection to include freshwater cultured pearl necklaces,
bracelets, earrings and sets.
Barbara travels to Taxco, Mexico on a quarterly basis and hand selects pieces
for her business to sell across the United States. The Silver Lady II sells
necklaces, bracelets, earrings, bangles, cuffs, and sets for women, men and
children. The Silver Lady II sells at conferences, events, fundraisers, meetings,
home parties and private engagements and is more than happy to donate a
percentage of the sales to the organization of your choice. The displays are
unique and attractive and the silver is the finest handcrafted 925 sterling silver.
