The Silverlady II is owned by Barbara Schulman who
previously owned All My Children Maternity and Diaper
Outlets in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the late 90s, with the advent
of large maternity superstores, sales were declining and
Barbara was looking for a fresh, new avenue to sell. She
ended up on a plane coming back from Mexico and met a
woman who traveled to Taxco to buy and sell sterling silver
jewelry. The two became fast friends and Barbara learned
everything she needed to know about buying silver jewelry
from this other woman, now known as The Silver Mother.
Barbara travels to Taxco, Mexico on a quarterly basis and
hand selects pieces for her business to sell across the United
States. We sell necklaces, bracelets, earrings, bangles,
cuffs, and sets for women, men and children. We sell at
conferences, events, fundraisers, meetings, home parties and
private engagements and are more than happy to donate a
percentage of the sales to the organization of your choice.
The displays are unique and attractive and the silver is the
finest handcrafted 925 sterling silver. Prices are set at
wholesale to be affordable for everyone.
Recently we expanded our line to include freshwater,
cultured pearl necklaces, bracelets, earrings and sets. We
design the pieces and have them all strung and knotted by
hand. They are truly beautiful choices that never go out of
